A 37–amino acid long-acting acylated amylin analog engineered to activate amylin and calcitonin receptor pathways involved in energy balance regulation. In experimental models, receptor engagement influences satiety signaling within key homeostatic centers such as the hypothalamus, while also modulating hedonic food-reward circuits.
Preclinical and clinical research suggests this pathway may slow gastric emptying, enhance post-prandial satiety signaling, and reduce overall caloric intake by amplifying physiologic fullness cues. Its acylated structure extends duration of receptor interaction, allowing sustained pathway engagement in controlled research settings.
